About the role

We are seeking reliable, empathetic, and caring aged care support workers to assist our clients across Metropolitan Melbourne. Tasks and responsibilities include:

– Assistance with hygiene and ADL’s
– Providing emotional & social support to clients and their families
– Assistance with light domestic duties
– Providing respite opportunities for families
– Supporting medication administration

To ensure success in this role, you should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest for supporting and helping others, whilst maintaining professionalism, dignity, and respect towards clients and their families throughout your interactions.

Qualifications & experience

– Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent
– Minimum 2 years professional experience as a support worker/personal carer, preferably in the aged care or community setting
– Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling Certificates

Skills
– Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong written and verbal English language skills
– Ability to work autonomously, within your scope of practice

Other requirements
– Unrestricted Australian working rights
– National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
– Valid Victorian Drivers’ Licence (unrestricted)
– Current fully comprehensive insurance on your private vehicle (may be used for work purposes)
